资源简介:

Abstract The aim of this study was to develop a measure of emotion regulation in the workplace (RE-Trab). The measure was an adaptation of the ERP-Br - a reduced version of the Emotion Regulation Profile (ERP), that assesses two ways of regulating emotions: up-regulation (positive emotions) that predict greater use of adaptive than maladaptive strategies, and down-regulation (negative emotions) that predict greater use of functional strategies. than dysfunctional ones. A total of 480 workers from national and multinational Industries in Bahia participated in the survey. There is a latent general factor, Emotional Regulation at Work, and four first-order factors corresponding to the strategies to deal with work scenarios: adaptive and maladaptive (positive scenarios), functional and dysfunctional (negative scenarios). Acceptable internal reliability values were found for the scale’s dimensions. The results are discussed in light of the original model (two-factor), proposing suggestions for the revision of the items and future improvement of the instrument.
