The 27th session of the IFLA Council was held in Edinburgh, Scotland from 4 to 7 September 1961 at the National Library of Scotland. 140 delegates and observers, representing 38 member associations from 23 countries and 7 international organisations, took part in its work. This photo was reproduced in the 'Actes du Comité international des bibliothèques, v. XXVI'.
