The Intestinal Microbiota of Channel Catfish (Ictalurus punctatus) After Florfenicol Treatment Followed by Dietary Prebiotic or Probiotic Supplementation

The intestinal microbiota of Channel Catfish (Ictalurus punctatus) after florfenicol treatment, followed by dietary prebiotic or probiotic supplementation was investigated. DNA was extracted from fecal samples and subjected next-generation sequencing on an Illumina MiSeq, following amplification of the V4 region of the 16S rRNA gene using primers 515F and 806R.
