Data: Mapping the connectivity–conflict interface to inform conservation
收藏资源简介:
Data used in the manuscript: Mapping the connectivity–conflict interface to inform conservation. <br> The Data Files include 3 files: 1. Locations of elephant detection/nondetection and elephant conflict, used to generate resistance and conditional conflict probabilities. 2. & 3. Data on conflict occurences used to validate the model, obtained from (2) an independently conducted questionnaire survey and (3) media reports. <br> Shapefiles and Rasters include: the study landscape extent; PAs with elephant densities; land-uses (agroforest, built up areas, crop, forest, plantations and water); and human population density from the WorldPop database. <br> The script includes code for inputting and preparing data files; generating resistance and absorption (conflict) layers; running the SAMC model; and validated model output. <br>
