SAXS Data, Processing Scripts, Fitting Scripts, and Analysis Results for Iron Oxide (IONP10) and Upconversion Nanoparticles (UCNP20) within MetrINo

This repository contains the Empa contribution to the MetrINo Interlaboratory Comparison (ILC) on nanoparticle sizing using Small-Angle X-ray Scattering (SAXS), focusing on the nanoparticle systems UCNP20 and IONP10 synthesized by BAM (Bundesanstalt für Materialforschung und -prüfung, Germany). The repository includes raw SAXS measurements, transmission- and background-corrected SAXS datasets, MATLAB data-reduction workflows, MATLAB fitting scripts, and the resulting particle-size analysis. All files required to reproduce the processed datasets and fitting results are provided. SAXS measurements were performed on a Bruker Nanostar instrument using a Cu Kα source. The repository is intended to ensure transparency, reproducibility, and reuse of the Empa ILC analysis workflow. The project (22HLT04 MetrINo) has received funding from the European Partnership on Metrology, co-financed from the European Union’s Horizon Europe Research and Innovation Programme and by the Participating States.
