资源简介:
This dataset contains the raw experimental data collected for the study "Measuring Immersion in Virtual Reality Leveraging Linkography for Evaluation". The study investigates the use of Linkography, traditionally applied in creativity assessment, as a novel tool for measuring immersion in Virtual Reality (VR) experiences. The dataset includes participant responses, Linkography entropy calculations, and immersion scores obtained from Visual Guidance in VR (VGVR) questionnaire, which incorporates elements from the Slater-Usoh-Steed (SUS) model and the Aesthetic Experience Questionnaire (AEQ).
Included Files:
Linkography Data.xlsx – Linkography-based entropy calculations for each participant.
Visual Guidance Scores.xlsx – Data related to different visual guidance methods in VR (No Guidance, Forced Rotation, Object to Follow).
Methodology:
Participants watched VR animations incorporating three visual guidance techniques—No Guidance, Forced Rotation, and Object (firefly) to Follow. They then completed VGVR questionnaires and Linkography diagrams, allowing for a comparison between subjective immersion reports and entropy-based cognitive engagement metrics.
