暖区暴雨一般是指发生在距地面锋面200-300 km 的暖区一侧的暴雨。作者根据国家信息中心提供的1982-2012年汛期2,420个国家级地面气象站逐小时降水数据(20–20时,北京时)和国家气象中心提供的2013–2015年逐小时降水资料。经过内部一致性检查、时间一致性检查,并确保一年中4–9月逐小时降水记录数不小于该年时段总时数的98%且无缺测年份,利用旋转EOF(Empirical Orthogonal Function)方法筛选得到两广及周边124个站点1982–2015年4–9月的逐小时降水数据,并根据该数据筛选暖区暴雨事件。按照降水区域、发生年份月份、开始时间、持续时间、天气形势等指标,得到两广及周边暖区暴雨筛选分类数据集(1982–2015)。本数据集包括:(1)124个站点的空间分布;(2)177例暖区暴雨的时空统计数据:包含发生年份、发生日期、起始时间、结束时间、持续时间、总降水量、降水中心站点位置等(Tab.1);(3)挑选的区暴雨根据出现年份、月份、开始时间以及持续时间归类统计(Tab.2);(4)暖区暴雨降水中心的站点位置、该位置发生降水次数及降水量统计(Tab.3);(5)根据环流形势分类得到四类暖区暴雨事件列表(Tab.4);(6)四类暖区暴雨月变化和地区分布特征(Tab.5)。数据集共包括2个文件,存储为.txt和.xls格式,数据量为139 KB(压缩为1个文件,23.5 KB)。该数据的分析研究成果发表在《大气科学》2019年第43卷第1期。

Warm-sector heavy rain generally refers to heavy rainfall occurring on the warm-sector side of a surface front within 200–300 km of the front. The authors collected hourly precipitation data (20:00–20:00 Beijing Time) from 2,420 national surface meteorological stations during flood seasons of 1982–2012, provided by the National Information Center, as well as hourly precipitation datasets from 2013–2015 supplied by the National Meteorological Center. After conducting internal consistency checks and temporal consistency checks, and confirming that the number of hourly precipitation records from April to September each year was no less than 98% of the total hours in this period with no missing years, the authors screened hourly precipitation data from April to September 1982–2015 for 124 stations in Guangdong, Guangxi and their surrounding areas using the rotated Empirical Orthogonal Function (rotated EOF) method, and then selected warm-sector heavy rain events based on this dataset. According to indicators including precipitation area, occurrence year and month, start time, duration and synoptic situation, the screened and classified warm-sector heavy rain dataset (1982–2015) for Guangdong, Guangxi and their surrounding areas was established. This dataset includes the following contents: (1) Spatial distribution of the 124 meteorological stations; (2) Spatiotemporal statistical data for 177 warm-sector heavy rain events, including occurrence year, occurrence date, start time, end time, duration, total precipitation, location of the precipitation center station, etc. (Tab.1); (3) Classified statistics of the selected warm-sector heavy rain events based on occurrence year, month, start time and duration (Tab.2); (4) Statistics of station locations of warm-sector heavy rain precipitation centers, the number of precipitation occurrences and total precipitation amounts at these locations (Tab.3); (5) List of four types of warm-sector heavy rain events classified based on circulation situations (Tab.4); (6) Monthly variation and regional distribution characteristics of the four types of warm-sector heavy rain events (Tab.5). The dataset consists of two files stored in .txt and .xls formats, with a total size of 139 KB (compressed to 23.5 KB as a single file). Research and analytical results based on this dataset were published in *Chinese Journal of Atmospheric Sciences*, 2019, Volume 43, Issue 1.
