Data was generated by employing multiple qualitative data sources including semi-focused interviews, drawing collages and timelines, the researcher's reflective journal and the career interest profile. Thematic analysis was employed to reduce data to broad themes and sub-themes by creating codes following inductive approach. Whilst the research was primarily qualitative, quantitative, the MCM inventory was also employed as a quantitative data generation source to assess the participants' interests as a way of deductive analysis. The four dimensions of the career-adaptabilities scale was used to elicit participants' narratives to determine their level of concern, curiosity, confidence and control. All ethical standards were adhered to ensuring participants' anonymity and safety.
