Knockdown EZH2 suppresses collagen synthesis in hypertrophic scar fibroblasts

MicroRNA-101 (miR-101) is a tumor suppressor miRNA and its loss is associated with various malignant diseases. However, the precise biological function of miR-101 and its target in the pathogenesis of hypertrophic scars remains unknown. Bioinformatics analysis and dual-luciferase reporter assay predict and identified miR-101 targets EZH2. To explore the EZH2 biological role in hypertrophic scar fibroblasts, we use siRNA to knockdown EZH2 and then subject to RNA sequencing to evaluate the relevant signaling pathway.
