Opinions on environmental impact scoring labels on foods products in the EU 2022

When surveyed in 2022, some 71 percent of survey respondents in selected EU countries* stated that their government or the EU should inform consumers of the environmental impact of food products through reliable environmental impact scoring labels. About a third of respondents stated that they would not trust any new system of environmental impact scoring on food products.
