Soil samples collected from the ionic rare earth mining area in Longyan, China, were taken from the rhizospheres of rare earth hyperaccumulating plants Dicranopteris pedata and Blechnopsis orientalis in both mined and unmined regions, to compare phenotypic differences between them.
