Global suitable habitats for Spodoptera litura and the implications for Brazilian agriculture

The dataset comprises occurrence records of Spodoptera litura (F.) (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae) after spatial filtering performed using the spThin package in the R statistical environment. A minimum distance of 20 km between occurrence records was applied to reduce spatial autocorrelation. The filtered occurrences are provided as .csv files and were used in the modeling process described in the article entitled “Global suitable habitats for Spodoptera litura and the implications for Brazilian agriculture”.
