Darwin - Remember Every Womxn Theatre Maker / Work Poster
收藏资源简介:
This collection of posters was generated through focus group activities held in Darwin, Australia. Across these sessions, participants were invited to respond to a single provocation—“Remember every womxn theatre-maker and/or work”—by collectively inscribing names, projects, companies, events, and fragments of theatrical memory onto large-scale posters. The resulting materials document acts of remembering and celebration that are partial, layered, contested, and affective. Names sit alongside forgotten surnames, crossed-out attempts and corrections, annotations, and associative groupings, revealing remembrance as a live, social process rather than a settled historical record. Together, the posters form a grassroots archive of Australian women’s theatre histories as they are remembered, debated, and re-made in the present. The activity is adapted from Every Artist Remembered, an artistic practice developed by Agatha Gothe-Snape’s live performance and installation, and was facilitated as part of Staging Australian Women’s Lives: Theatre, Feminism & Socially Engaged Art, an ARC Discovery Project (DP200102876). The activity was led by project members Professor Stacy Holman Jones, Professor Daniel X. Harris, Professor Alyson Campbell, Professor Misha Myers, Dr Peta Murray, and Mish Grigor.
