Streptomyces globisporus strain M1 was isolated from rhizospheric soil of rice crop that exhibit antimicrobial properties was sequenced and assembled. Here we reported 7,691,280bp genome with a G+C content of 71.62%. This genome gives insight into secondary metabolites production and reveal the genes responsible for antimicrobial activity of this novel strain.
