Gene expression changes in the colon tissue of mice under chronic Cr or/and Ni exposure

The gene expression changes in the colon tissue of mice under chronic Cr or/and Ni exposure were analyzed using RNA-seq. The results showed that compared with the control group, 1002, 1974, and 580 genes showed expression changes in the colon of Cr group, Ni group, and Cr+Ni group after Cr or/and Ni exposure, respectively; Cr or/and Ni exposure up-regulated the expression of immune inflammation genes and connexins, and down-regulated the expression of intestinal mucin genes.
