Flow cytometry data for THP-1 macrophage phenotyping in response to a glycol-chitosan hydrogel crosslinked with .005%, .01%, .02% glyoxal concentrations

Flow cytometry data for THP-1 macrophage phenotyping in response to a glycol-chitosan hydrogel crosslinked with glyoxal that contained embedded immortalized human vocal fold fibroblasts. Markers analysed include CD11b, CD33, CD80, CD206. Experimental controls were hydrogel monocultures (i.e. no fibroblasts); and macrophage monocultures (i.e. no fibroblasts or hydrogel); monocyte control (i.e. undifferentiated THP-1 monocytes). Flow cytometric controls included unstained, single stained, and fluorescence minus one controls. Additionally, compensation was performed for all samples. Samples were cultured in 6-well transwell plates; A total of 12 individual sample wells were combined to form 2 macrophage population to analyse with flow cytometry per condition.
