Spinal cord injury (SCI) refers to the damage to the spinal cord due to trauma, disease or degeneration, and the number of new cases is increasing yearly. It remains a devastating condition with limited treatment options, primarily due to challenges in overcoming extensive demyelination and inadequate endogenous repair mechanisms. In this study, we used RNA sequencing to evaluate the gene expression and signaling pathways after SCI.
