Replication: Future Orientation Index based on Baidu Index

This dataset supports the paper Seeking forward, looking forward: A replication and generalization of the Future Orientation Index utilizing Baidu Index. This dataset comprises the Future Orientation Index and HDI / GDP for provinces in China from 2012 to 2021. It also includes the R code used in the related study for analysis and plotting.
