Lagrangian Submesoscale Experiment (LASER) Moving Vessel Profiler CTD, northern Gulf of Mexico, January-February 2016

Moving Vessel Profiler (MVP) CTD casts were part of the Lagrangian Submesoscale Experiment (LASER) conducted in the northern Gulf of Mexico January-February 2016 from aboard the R/V Walton Smith. Data include depth/cast grids of temperature, conductivity, and pressure, with salinity and sigma_theta derived quantities. Raw data were gridded onto 1-m vertical bins. Data were further subdivided into 9 "Surveys", with one netcdf file per survey.
