Copper and boron are essential micronutrients for plant growth. Cu participates in processes such as photosynthetic electron transport, cell wall metabolism, oxidative stress response, protein synthesis, nitrogen metabolism, hormone signaling, and ethylene sensing in plants. B plays a crucial role in maintaining the structure and function of cell walls, metabolism of nucleic acids and sugars, protein synthesis, phosphorus metabolism, metabolism of phenolic and nitrogen-containing compounds, and hormone regulation. The main citrus producing areas in China are mostly acidic or strongly acidic soils. Due to unreasonable fertilization, sewage irrigation, and the extensive use of copper based fungicides, there is often a problem of excessive copper in citrus production. At present, most researchers have only conducted research on citrus response to single nutrient stress, and there are few studies on citrus response to copper boron interaction. Therefore, in this study, Citrus sinensis seedlings were selected as materials for sand culture using two copper concentrations and three boron concentrations . Identify key genes that play a role in it, ultimately improving the copper tolerance of citrus and providing theoretical basis for high-yield and high-quality cultivation of citrus.
