This is the dataset for the article "Land uplift creates important meadow habitat and a potential original niche for grassland species" by Auffret & Cousins.The data presented include:1. A land uplift model showing the century of land emergence since 2000BC for all land, and two definitions of potential meadow grassland in the regions of Uppland and Södertörn in central Sweden.2. The observations of plant species on 20 coastal meadow grasslands in central Sweden in 2012. 3.
