Newspaper Map

The Newspaper Map (World Edition) web map provides a customized world basemap symbolized with a unique "newspaper" style. It has a black & white appearance with select features highlighted in red. Many of the area fills have halftone patterns commonly found in traditional newspaper printing. The comprehensive map data includes highways, major roads, minor roads, railways, water features, cities, parks, landmarks, building footprints, and administrative boundaries. This basemap, included in the ArcGIS Living Atlas of the World, uses the Newspaper vector tile layer. The vector tile layer in this web map is built using the same data sources used for other Esri Vector Basemaps.
