Delivery Optimization for Antiretroviral Therapy (The DO ART Study), 2016-2019

The Delivery Optimization for Antiretroviral Therapy (DO ART) Study was a prospective, randomized trial evaluating ART delivery in the community compared to the clinic in three sites in South Africa and Uganda. The qualitative component assessed how and why community-based strategies of ART initiation, monitoring and refills may have impacted viral suppression and other study outcomes. Included are the study abstract, definitions of key terms, qualitative interview guides, sample transcripts, and the codebook. All restricted data require the completion of an Application for Data Use form.
