海水的碱度(Alkalinity)是指海水中弱酸阴离子的浓度,用来衡量海水中弱酸阴离子的含量。海水总碱度由碳酸碱度,硼酸碱度和过剩碱度组成,通常以TA表示。它是一个与质量、盐度类似的具有保守性质的参数,对于天然海水,碳酸碱度通常占总碱度的90%以上,因此总碱度是海水二氧化碳-碳酸盐体系中的重要参数。 2003年中国第2次北极科学考察期间,开展了重点海域海水分水层总碱度(TA)的调查。本数据包括总计50个站的海水总碱度(TA)分水层数据,水深范围为0-3300m。
Alkalinity of seawater is defined as the concentration of weak acid anions in seawater, and is used to quantify the abundance of these anions in marine waters. Total alkalinity (TA) of seawater comprises carbonate alkalinity, borate alkalinity and excess alkalinity, and is commonly abbreviated as TA. As a conservative parameter analogous to mass and salinity, TA is a critical parameter in the seawater carbon dioxide-carbonate system. For natural seawater, carbonate alkalinity typically accounts for over 90% of total alkalinity. During the 2nd Chinese National Arctic Research Expedition in 2003, a survey of water layer-resolved total alkalinity (TA) was conducted in key marine areas. This dataset contains total alkalinity (TA) data at water layer levels from a total of 50 sampling stations, with water depths ranging from 0 to 3300 meters.
