The invention concerns a tool-coupling device for holding a machine tool cutting device， in particular a machine tool cutting device designed as a closed system， having at least one cutting train clamping unit (14a; 14b; 14c; 14d; 14e; 14f; 14g) for generating a cutting train clamping force and having at least one tool-holding unit (16a; 16b; 16c; 16d; 16e; 16f; 16g) comprising at least one movably mounted tool-holder element (18a; 18b; 18c; 18d; 18e; 18f; 18g). According to the invention， the tool-coupling device comprises at least one movement-coupling unit (20a; 20b; 20c; 20d; 20e; 20f; 20g) by means of which the tool-holder element (18a; 18b; 18c; 18d; 18e; 18f; 18g) can be coupled with a clamping element (22a; 22b; 22c; 22d; 22e; 22f; 22g) for a movement of the clamping element (22a; 22b; 22c; 22d; 22e; 22f; 22g) of the cutting train clamping unit (14a; 14b; 14c; 14d; 14e; 14f; 14g). According to the invention， the tool-coupling device comprises at least one movement-coupling unit (20a; 20b; 20c; 20d; 20e; 20f; 20g) by means of which the tool-holder element (18a; 18b; 18c; 18d; 18e; 18f; 18g) can be coupled with a clamping element (22a; 22b; 22c; 22d; 22e; 22f; 22g) for a movement of the clamping element (22a; 22b; 22c; 22d; 22e; 22f; 22g) of the cutting train clamping unit (14a; 14b; 14c; 14d; 14e; 14f; 14g).
