Supporting data for "Unit understanding in length measurement: Structure, cognitive underpinnings, and relation to spatial measurement"

This dataset contains data on young children's performance in spatial measurement, measurement of conceptual knowledge, and cognitive-linguistic skills. Children's demographic information is also included in this dataset.

The current research provides a comprehensive investigation of young children’s unit understanding of length measurement (UULM), including developing a psychometrically solid test of young children’s UULM and validating the structure of UULM, exploring the cognitive-linguistic foundations for UULM learning, and examining the reciprocal relation between UULM and spatial measurement.
