PacBio HiFi sequencing of the mitochondrial genome of Peucedanum praeruptorum

In this study, we performed high-fidelity (HiFi) sequencing of the mitochondrial genome of Peucedanum praeruptorum to investigate its genomic structure and evolution. Sequencing was conducted using the PacBio Sequel II platform. A total of 357.41 Mb of HiFi reads were generated. Based on the estimated mitochondrial genome size of 214,529 bp, the sequencing coverage is approximately 1,600×. This high-quality dataset provides a robust foundation for the complete assembly and functional annotation of the mitochondrial genome.
