DS2. Performance evaluation of Terabit MCMs-SMF in lab-settings (experimental data)

The dataset comprises experimental results from the experimental evaluation of POETICS POE-2 Terabit MCM prototype, employing an external receiver based on bulk components. The receiver consisted of a second O-band PDFA, an O-band optical filter and a photodetector. The electrical signals were captured through a sampling oscilloscope. Between the on-chip transmitter and the reference receiver, fiber spools of varying length (0 km, 1 km, 2 km, 5 km, 10 km, 20 km, and 50 km) have been inserted. The captured signals are stored as .txt files, consisting of a voltage and a time vector. Attached with each .txt file is an image of the eye-diagram captured in real-time, through the real-time oscilloscope. The dataset is accompanied by a .png image depicting the experimental setup.
