Generation of an in vitro 3D Engineered Colorectal Cancer Patient-Derived Xenograft Model

We report on the development of an vitro model of colorectal cancer using cells isolated from a patient-derived xengraft (PDX) tumor. Transcriptome profiling was performed to compare molecular characteristics of in vitro 3D engineered CRC tissues to in vivo tumors. Overall design: mRNA profiles of 3D engineered CRC tissues cultured for 15 days and the corresponding in vivo PDX subcutaneous tumor grown in NOD.Cg-Prkdcscid Il2rgtm1Wjl/SzJ (NOD-SCID) mice.
