Force-Lines (Paper 5)This research note proposes a unifying lens on fundamental forces: the force-line hypothesis, where information is carried not by fields alone but by deeper geometric structures. Photonic force-lines naturally spread, requiring external refocusing (telescopes, diffraction limits). Gravitational force-lines, by contrast, intrinsically self-focus, obeying the Raychaudhuri equation and driving gravitational lensing with lossless information transport. We argue that “spread” is not “entropy.” Photons can traverse 13–14.5 billion years of cosmic expansion and still reconstruct original images when detected, because force-lines preserve topological information across spacetime. This perspective reframes surface-brightness conservation, lensing magnification, and even biological perception as manifestations of knot closure at detection. A speculative extension suggests that forces may represent different frequency or harmonic regimes of the same underlying geometry: photons (high-frequency spreading), gravity (low-frequency focusing), with electromagnetism and other forces as intermediates. The mathematics is anchored in established optics (diffraction limits, angular diameter distances), general relativity (Raychaudhuri focusing, Liouville invariance), and information theory (Shannon invariants). From this base, we outline testable predictions — including lossless information invariants under lensing, phase correlations in gravimetry, and metamaterial analogs bridging spreading and focusing regimes.
