Reproducible data and code for: Assessing Human Error Contributions to Railway Accident Causation

This repository contains the anonymized dataset and the full analysis code used in the study: "Assessing Human Error Contributions to Railway Accident Causation: Evidence from Accident Investigation Reports in Korea". The package includes:- An anonymized dataset of 105 accident cases, including the constructed C1–C8 variables and accident cost.- A Jupyter notebook containing all code required to reproduce the statistical analyses and figures reported in the paper. The original data sources are the official railway accident investigation reports published by the Aviation and Railway Accident Investigation Board (ARAIB) of the Republic of Korea, which are publicly available in Korean via the ARAIB website. Due to institutional and copyright-related restrictions, the full set of original reports cannot be redistributed. All results reported in the paper can be reproduced by running the provided notebook using the included dataset.
