Activation of a bacterial flow sensor by stimulated neutrophils

RNA-seq profiling of wild-type Pseudomonas aeruginosa (PA14) and the ?froR mutant strain under the stimulation of NaOCl, hydrogen peroxide, or untreated. Overall design: Mid-exponential strains cultured in MinA medium were treated with 1 µM NaOCl, 4 µM H2O2, or untreated for 30 minutes and processed using the NucleoSpin RNA kit. Libraries were prepared using the NEBNext rRNA Depletion kit and NEBNext Ultra II Directional Library kit (NEB) and sequenced using a Illumina NovaSeq X Plus. Data were processed using Trimmomatic, Bowtie2, Subread, and DeSeq2.
