CTD, carbonate, and meteorological data from the LTER-Eastern Ligurian Sea Site (Italy), 2021-2025

This repository contains marine data on temperature, dissolved oxygen, pressure, practical salinity, density, conductivity, fluorescence, turbidity, chlorophyll-a, total alkalinity, and total scale pH measured at two coastal stations in the Gulf of La Spezia (Eastern Ligurian Sea): Mussel Aquaculture Buoy (MAB, 44.077130°N, 9.880829°E) outside the harbour; Tino Island (TI, 44.019788°N, 9.850245°E) in the Regional Park and outside the Gulf.
The monitoring is carried out in the context of the Smart Bay S. Teresa collaboration platform (https://smartbaysteresa.com/).
Biogeochemical data (total alkalinity (TA), pH on the NBS scale (pHNBS)) have been determined monthly.
Concurrent meteorological data were recorded from January 2021 to April 2025 by a meteorological station located at 49.5 m above sea level on the roof of the S. Teresa ENEA Centre (44° 5’ 1” N, 9° 52’ 55” E).
