To discover cells with mixed enteroendocrine/Paneth/goblet features arising from Neurog3+ progenitors in WT and NFKO mice, we used single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) to analyze the diversity of Neurog3 derived cells in the small intestine. Overall design: Intestinal Neurog3 derived epithelial cells from the Neurog3Cre; Rosa26tdtomato and Neurog3Cre-FoxO1 f/f; Rosa26tdtomato mice were isolated by fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS) according to the presence or absence of tomato signal and analyzed using scRNAseq.
