Rhesus macaques (Macaca mulatta) Illumina MiSeq MHC amplicon raw sequence reads

Variations in class I and class II genes of the major histocompatibility complex (MHC) can influence the outcomes of transplantation and infectious disease studies. Short amplicons from exon 2 of MHC class I and class II genes of nonhuman primates are generated by multiplex PCRs in Fluidigm/Standard BioTools Access Arrays and evaluated by deep sequence analysis with an Illumina MiSeq instrument. The majority of the animals included in this BioProject are Indian-origin rhesus macaques (Macaca mulatta), but some individuals with hybrid geographic origins are also included.
