Platypus eDNA (environmental DNA) sampling dates and sites, sample volumes and qPCR results for the Maribyrnong, Werribee and Yarra Rivers

Two datasets that together record the sampling dates, sampling locations, sample water volume filtered on a given occasion and platypus qPCR findings (expressed as the number of positive technical eDNA replicates (0 to 3) recorded for each water sample). Sampling was conducted at 8 sites each in the Werribee and Yarra Rivers (southern Victoria) in August, October and December 2023 and February 2024, and at 8 sites in the Maribyrnong River in August, October and December 2023 and February, April and June 2024,
