This dataset accompanies the systematic literature review "AI in Production Planning and Control: From Data to Decisions" by Demke et al. It provides a structured classification of 479 scientific publications on Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications in Production Planning and Control (PPC). The dataset includes the systematization of the literature with respect to PPC tasks, applied AI methods, and methodological aspects following the Cross Industry Standard Process for Machine Learning with Quality Assurance (CRISP-ML(Q)) framework, as well as the corresponding bibliographic references.
