CBS News/New York Times Monthly Poll, November 1995

This poll is part of a continuing series of monthly surveys that solicit public opinion on the presidency and on a range of other political and social issues. Respondents were asked for their opinions of President Bill Clinton, Newt Gingrich, and Bob Dole and the performance of each at their respective jobs. Other topics covered the federal budget, with detailed attention to the government shutdown due to the budget debate, who was to blame for the shutdown, and who was doing the most to resolve the budget debate.
