Pseudomonas sp. 7-41 Genome sequencing. Pseudomonas sp. 7-41
收藏资源简介:
Pseudomonas sp. strain 7-41 isolated from oil fields sites of Nefteyugansk district of Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Yugra are able to degrade aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons. Strain is capable of destruction of crude oil at the temperature of 24C. Pseudomonas sp. 7-41 bear IncP-7 degradative plasmids of 206 kb in size. The strains contain sequences of the genes coding naphthalene-1,2-dioxygenase (nahAc), salicylate-1-hydroxylase (nahG), as well as the gene of salicylate degradation by the meta-pathway of catechol cleavage - catechol-2,3- dioxygenase (nahH), which indicates the presence of classical operons of naphthalene catabolism in these strains. Specific amplification of the alkane hydroxylase gene, alkB, was also observed in the studied microorganisms.
