Method: The data was collected in grass lot area in York University from 3:30pm to 4:30pm on Tuesday September 29, 2015. The temperature on Tuesday was 7 ºC. The weather was rainy and windy when the data was collected. The data was collected in a group of four people. The data was collected eight times, in which four were collected in mowed grassland and the other four were collected in unmowed grassland by using a transect. We walked along the transect slowly and collected the number of species and organism inside the sweep net after every five steps. This step was repeated further eight times. The beaufort number of 4 on Beaufort Scale was recorded. The group members include Rachel, Maleeha and Aster.
