Effect of GTSF-1 deletion on C. elegans, C. briggsae and P. pacificus small-RNA landscapes

This study assesses the role of GTSF-1 in small RNA landscape of three nematode species, Caenorhabditis elegans, Caenorhabditis briggsae, and Pristionchus pacificus. Libraries were generated from wild-type and gtsf-1 deletion animals from distinct developmental stages (embryos, L4 larvae, and adults). For C. elegans we additionally sequenced animals expressing C. briggsae GTSF-1 in endogenous GTSF-1 deletion background. The set of libraries generated are either untreated or RppH treated to enrich for 5' tri-phosphorylated small RNAs.
