资源简介:
Poor trunk control after stroke affects bed mobility, sit-to-stand transitions, and gait, increasing fall risk. This cross-sectional study examined the relationship between supine-to-stand time and bed rise quality with gait and fear of falling in 52 post-stroke participants (mean age 56.6 years). Supine-to-stand time was measured with a stopwatch, bed rise quality by the Bed Rise Difficulty Scale (BRDS), gait by the Performance Oriented Mobility Assessment–Gait (POMA-Gait) and Wisconsin Gait Scale (WGS), and fear of falling by the Falls Efficacy Scale (FES). Supine-to-stand time showed a moderate positive correlation with FES and a weak negative correlation with POMA-G. BRDS demonstrated a moderate negative correlation with POMA-G and a moderate positive correlation with both WGS and FES. These findings suggest that supine-to-stand time and bed rise quality are potential predictors of gait performance and fall risk in post-stroke patients.
