This dataset retrieves brand commodity sales data in Jiangsu Province via the platform, which can be used to evaluate the sales performance of different down apparel products in this region. By analyzing customer color preference and size proportion data, we can understand customer preferences and the size distribution of local customer groups, providing reference for enterprises in the down apparel industry to optimize marketing plans, reasonably arrange production orders and carry out targeted regional pre-distribution.
① Data Collection: Collect sales-related data including platform, color, size, season, province, city, district, product category and other related fields.
Data Processing: Clean the collected data, remove duplicate entries, handle missing values, identify and process outliers to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
② Data Analysis: Conduct statistical analysis on the processed data. First, calculate the top 6 best-selling down thermal apparel products in Jiangsu Province within a specified time period. Then perform targeted analysis based on the "color" and "size" fields respectively, and count the color preference and size proportion for each of the top 6 product categories. Specifically, color preference is defined as the ratio of the order volume of a specific color for a given category to the total order volume of that category; size proportion is defined as the ratio of the order volume of a specific size for a given category to the total order volume of that category. Through the above analysis, we can identify the product categories favored by local customer groups, as well as their color preferences and size selection proportions for each category.
③ Data Application: Apply the analysis results to operational scenarios, helping down apparel enterprises better understand local customer preferences and size selection habits, so as to formulate more precise marketing strategies and guide enterprises to reasonably arrange production and distribution.
