Digital Gene Expression data of two Trypanosoma brucei hybrids (T.b.brucei crossed with T.b.gambiense (group 2))

Trypanosoma brucei gambiense is the causative agent of the fatal human disease African sleeping sickness. Using Digital Gene Expression we have compared the transcriptome of two T.b.brucei (STIB 247)xT.b.gambiense (STIB386) hybrids. RNA was extracted from 2 T.b.brucei/T.b.gambiense hybrids. Digital Gene Expression libraries were created and were sequenced using Illumina next generation sequencing technology.
