资源简介:
This dataset contains elicited possessive paradigms, verbal subject-marking paradigms, and pronominal paradigms from the Wauyai dialect of Ma'ya with Pilipus Gimla (born 1955), a native speaker of Wauyai Ma'ya. The possessed nouns in the possessive paradigms cover the semantic domains of edible and general items (corresponding to page 12 in the Fieldnotes); the verbal subject-marking paradigms are given for the verbs 'to drink', 'to stand', 'to sit', 'to die', 'to kill', 'to bathe', and 'to be tall' (corresponding to pages 13-15 of the Fieldnotes); and the pronominal paradigms are investigated throughout the session (corresponding to page 10 of the Fieldnotes). The session was recorded on 20 February 2023, in Waimalata hamlet (Waigeo island, Raja Ampat regency, Southwest Papua province, Indonesia). This dataset relates to the British Academy Postdoctoral Fellowship 'Synchronic and diachronic investigations in Raja Ampat-South Halmahera, a little-known subbranch of Austronesian'. Further deposits are available in the related DataShare sub-community (https://datashare.ed.ac.uk/handle/10283/8573).
