Inhibitory control in illiterate and literate adult Turkish speakers

This dataset includes data points testing inhibitory control from 96 native Turkish speakers: 53 illiterate and 43 literate participants. Illiterate participants did not know how to read and write at the time of the study due to sociocultural reasons (i.e., religion, patriarchy). We tested inhibitory control using an emotional stroop task, adapted from Lagatutta and colleagues (2011).
