This study investigated the effects of IL1RL1 deficiency on the devlopment of red pulp macrophages (RPM) Overall design: Splenocytes were sorted from WT (male Balb/c 10 weeks old) and IL1RL1-/- (male Balb/c background, 10 weeks old) mice; monocytes (Ly6Glo CD11bhi F4/80-) and pre-RPM (Ly6Glo CD11bhi F4/80lo ) and RPM (Ly6Glo CD11blo/- F4/80hi), n=4/group. Sorted cells were centrifuged and resuspended for RNAseq or ATACseq as described (Lu et al, Immunity 2020) Each sample originates from a single mouse.
