资源简介:
These data include \"#MeToo\" tweets collected at four timepoints between 2017 and 2020, each associated with peak usage of the tweet: October 15, 2017 (the first tweet in which Alyssa Milano tweeted #MeToo after Harvey Weinstein was accused of sexual assault); Sept 27, 2018, (Dr. Christine Blasey Ford testified against Brett Kavanaugh at the U.S. Senate Judiciary hearings); October 6, 2018 (when Brett Kavanaugh was confirmed to the U.S. Supreme Court); February 24,2020 (when Harvey Weinstein was convicted) The tweets were then analysed using Linguistic Inquiry Word Count, a text analysis program that calculates the percentage of the total number of words for particular word categories. These data support the article, \"#MeToo as an ‘angry mob’ or in search of meaning? Using language to assess the focus of #MeToo tweets across four events\" in Computers in Human Behavior Reports (2022) (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.chbr.2022.100173).
