Global, monthly, 0.5° projections of the **inundated** and **saturated** areas within wetlands, simulated with a calibrated land–river configuration of the Energy Exascale Earth System Model (E3SM) driven by five bias-corrected CMIP6 climate forcings, for the historical period (1971–2014) and two future scenarios (SSP1-2.6 and SSP5-8.5, 2015–2100).
