Dataset for "Effects of elevated CO2 on particulate and mineral-associated organic carbon pools in a winter wheat field in Northern China"

The dataset includes original data for analyzing the response of soil organic carbon (SOC) fractions to elevated CO2 in .xlsx format. We conducted a field experiment using the free-air CO2 enrichment (FACE) system in a winter wheat field in Northern China to collect soil samples for our study. Then, in the laboratory, we use common methods to determine the soil indicators needed for research. Our objectives were (1) to analyze the responses of POM-C and MAOM-C and their correlations under elevated CO2, and (2) to clarify the contributions of MNC to POM-C and MAOM-C fractions in response to elevated CO2.
